Cookies
Introduction
CyrISBio websites and online services may use "cookies". Cookies are small files containing letters and numbers that we may place on your computer, depending on your cookie preferences. Cookies enable you to use shopping carts and allow us to personalize your experience on our sites, tell us which parts of our websites users have visited, help us measure the effectiveness of web advertising and searches, and provide us with information about user behavior so that we can improve our communications, products and services.
If you wish to disable cookies in your browser, please see our browser-specific information on how to disable cookies. If you are a user of or visitor to our websites and online services in the European Economic Area and wish to change the cookie preferences you selected during the consent process, you can access a button at the bottom left of your country's web pages entitled "Cookie Preferences."
Since cookies are used on our websites, disabling some of them may prevent you from using certain parts and features of the sites.
We use the following categories on our websites and other online services:
Required cookies | Functional cookies | Advertising cookies
Category 1 - Cookies required
Some cookies are necessary to enable you to navigate the website and use its features. Without these cookies, we will not be able to provide a secure connection, remember the path taken in an order or provide certain other essential features of our site, such as the shopping cart, the checkout process and the electronic billing functionality.
Category 2 - Functional cookies
We use various "functional cookies" to enhance your browsing experience and collect statistical data that we use to improve our websites. We use some of these cookies to collect information about how users of our websites interact with the sites. This data can be used to optimize our websites and facilitate your browsing. These cookies are also used to inform our affiliates if you have accessed one of our websites from an affiliate and if your visit has resulted in the use or purchase of a product or service from us, including details of the product or service purchased. These cookies do not collect personally identifiable information. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous.
We also use cookies to enable our websites to remember the choices you make when browsing. For example, they may be used to track which products or videos featured have been viewed to avoid repetition.
We also use cookies to enable us to test different design ideas for particular pages, such as our home page. We generally use independent measurement and research companies to perform these services for us and, where this is the case, these cookies may be set by a third-party company.
Category 3 - Advertising cookies
We and our third-party partners may use advertising cookies to collect information about your activities on this and other sites in order to provide you with advertisements that we believe may be of interest to you based on your actions on our website. Disabling these types of cookies will not prevent you from receiving advertisements. You will continue to receive generic ads.
Changing cookie settings
If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can modify your browser to notify you when cookies are being sent, or you can refuse cookies altogether. You can also delete any cookies already installed.
Since cookies are used on our websites, disabling them may prevent you from using certain parts or features of the site.
If you wish to restrict or block web browser cookies set on your device, you can do so via your browser settings; your browser's help function should tell you how to do this, or refer you to the information below. You can also visit www.aboutcookies.org, which contains comprehensive information on how to do this on a wide variety of desktop browsers. If you live in the European Economic Area, you can change your cookie preferences by accessing the "Cookie Preferences" button at the bottom left of our web pages.
We strive to provide a personalized experience for visitors to our websites, and our sites currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals from web browsers.
